Tyron Birkmeir.
A principal investor, founder, and dealmaker with more than two decades of experience across public and private markets, focused on long-term value creation, disciplined capital deployment, and building investment platforms across market cycles.
Barclays / Julius Baer
Tyron began his career at Barclays, covering emerging markets across Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East during a period of significant economic change. The work shaped a structural view of how capital crosses borders, and how durable franchises are built where convention is in motion.
He later spent a decade at Julius Baer in Zurich, serving as Managing Director and working with strategic relationships across institutional, family office, and ultra-high-net-worth segments. That experience shaped a belief in concentrated, carefully structured, principal-aligned capital, and ultimately led him to build his own investment firm.
Lurra Capital · LC Ventures
In 2017, Tyron founded Lurra Capital, a Zurich-based, invitation-only private capital investment firm focused on private equity, venture capital, real estate, and special situations.
He also established a Luxembourg-domiciled venture capital fund with positions in SpaceX, Redwood Materials, and other companies across AI, defence, cybersecurity, aerospace, consumer technology, and fintech. The fund remains active and continues to invest in long-duration themes with significant growth potential.
South Florida Multifamily
Alongside European investment activity, Tyron founded and scaled a U.S. multifamily real estate business in Miami, focused on Class A and Class B assets in high-growth South Florida submarkets.
The portfolio was built with a disciplined approach to timing, asset selection, and off-market sourcing, and was fully realised in January 2025.
Conviction, discipline, and duration. Asymmetric opportunities, founder-led businesses, and assets where value can be actively created over time.
Tyron invests his own capital alongside a closely held group of co-investors and family office partners, treating each commitment as part of a long-term relationship rather than a standalone transaction.
Built over years. Maintained personally.
Relationships across finance, technology, real estate, and government, central to how opportunities are sourced, partnerships evaluated, and durable investment platforms built.
